Linda Marie Waddell

Linda Marie Waddell, 66, of Spotsylvania passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was dearly loved by her family and will be missed by all. She was an excellent cook, fisherwoman, gardener, and pinochle player. Her numerous talents were known by many.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Waddell; children Karen Moore (Thad) and Cara Parsons (Christopher); grandchildren Zachary, Alexis, Ryan, Kayla, Jason, Logan, and Justin; siblings Don Frey (Jill), Michael Frey (Roxanne); Sandra Frey, Kimberly Hopkins (Scott), and Kevin Frey (Wendy); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Don Frey.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
