Lois Ann White

Lois Ann White, 83 of Spotsylvania County died peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 10, 2021.

She is survived by her daughters- Ginger A Trest (Richard), Wendy A White-Young (Stephen), Vicky A Robertson (Randall), Linda A Garcia (Mike), Tina A White-Coughenour (Brian); 11 grandchildren- Brian Trest (Chrissy), Laura Trest-Mellon (Michael), Nick Mock (Hannah), Crisa Young, Brandi Latham (Hunter), Garrett Young, Nathaniel Robertson, Alayna Coughenour, Waverly Gulbrandson; 7 great grandchildren, her brother Kevin D White (Cheryl) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert G White, her daughter Sandy A Latham, her parents Cornelius and Gladys White, her brothers Juan, Weldon (Scotty) and Gary.

Lois was born in Dover, New Jersey on September 9, 1938 and moved to Washington, D.C. as a young girl. Robert (Bob) swept her off her feet in 1961 and strolled her down the aisle in March of 1962, they started their family of all girls shortly thereafter. Lois loved being a wife, a stay home mom and raising her 6 girls. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was their MeMe.

Lois lived a full life, she always had a smile on her face and she loved the Lord.

She would not want anyone to cry that she has passed away, but rather celebrate the time you had with her and all the memories made.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, October 25 at the Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, 4801 Jefferson Davis Hwy Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle at 2 P.M.
