Lori L. Coultas

Lori L. Coultas, 64, of Stafford passed on to the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Lori was born in Robinson, Illinois on March 13, 1957. She met her future husband there at age 12 and they built a life together. She was married to the love of her life, Robert E. Coultas, for 47 years.

Most of her younger life was spent as a military wife raising a family of four children. They moved all around the world, including Germany twice and South Korea. Lori had a variety of jobs during this time, including being the Mayor of Platen while in Frankfurt. In her later years, after Robert retired from the military, Lori spent a lot of time raising successful grandchildren.

To know Lori was to know that she was a very engaged and involved person. She took everything she did with a full on effort that few people can replicate. We celebrate all the many successes she had in life and miss her dearly. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert; children Chris (Melissa), Tim, Amanda (Brian), and Bobby (Noelle); and many grandchildren to include Jonah, Samiya, Lance, Aidan, Jude, Gabriella and Lila. She was blessed by the love of many of her in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces, and an outpouring of blessings and love from friends and neighbors as she had been in ill health for the last two years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Oather Maus and Ray Maxwell; daughter-in-law Nicole; and many siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 30 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford.
