Mark Daniel Dempsey

Rev. Mark Daniel Dempsey, 46, Sr. Pastor of Kings Highway Baptist Church, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

Rev. Dempsey was a graduate of George Wythe University with a B.A. degree in music. He was a graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. in Biblical and Theological Studies. Rev. Dempsey was in the ministry of 25 years, during which time he organized and produced the Glorious Reunion, the largest gospel-sing in the area.

Rev. Dempsey was a very talented singer, gifted teacher, and inspiring preacher.

 Survivors include his two daughters, Victoria Pauline, 17, and Olivia Anna, 14; parents Dr. W. Carlin and Linda Dempsey; and brother Matthew David Dempsey and wife Jennifer.

 A celebration memorial service of southern gospel music will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 16 a Kings Highway Baptist Church, 15 Pine Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. Viewing two hours prior to the service.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kings Highway Baptist Church in memory of Mark.
