Merrit "Mildred" Grigsby

Merrit "Mildred" Grigsby, 80, of Spotsylvania County entered heaven’s gates on January 8, 2021.

Mildred was born to Grover and Nellie Madison on April 16, 1940. She married her husband Edward Grigsby on November 14, 1959. Together they had two children, Deborah Grigsby and Eddie Grigsby (Cindy).

She was a member of Gordon Road Church of God.

Mildred was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She treasured her children, grandchild, and great grandchildren. Her hands were rarely still as she proudly cared for her family and her home.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
