Monica Lynn Specht

Monica Lynn Specht, 55, lost her four-year battle with cancer on December 31, 2021. She was loved by many. She was born on February 16, 1966.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittany; her son, Shawn; son-in-law “Big Tory”; five grandchildren that she adored, Charles, Torey, Levi, Evelisse, and Brody; seven sisters Vickie, Debbie, Robin, Penny, Jamie, Sandy, and Rosemary; three brothers, Paul, Tim, and Chris. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hank; and her parents, Henry and Rosemary Specht.

Before her illness, Monica was a school bus driver for Spotsylvania County Schools for 15 years. Monica’s love of life and her laughter will be greatly missed. She had a heart of gold.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Berkeley Community Center, 5969 Partlow Road Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
