Patricia Ann "Pam" (McDonald) Hathcock

Patricia Ann McDonald “Pam” Hathcock, 80, of Stafford County, passed away on Tuesday July 13, 2021, surrounded by family at home.

Pam was born on November 4, 1940, in Atlanta, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Pam attended Crawford Long School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. She spent a lifetime caring for others as a nurse until her retirement as Director of Nursing the Hermitage in Northern Virginia. Pam was a longtime member of Fredericksburg Baptist church and part of the Sojourners Sunday School Class.

Survivors include children Phillip W. Hathcock, Jr. (Kristen) of Great Bend, KS and Amanda Medora La Rose (Wesley) of Stafford; grandchildren Reid La Rose, Jefferson Hathcock, Jordan Hathcock, Braeden La Rose, and Lauren La Rose; brother Charles McDonald (Janet); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hathcock, Sr.; parents, Hugh and Dorothy McDonald; her brothers, Hugh McDonald and Robert McDonald.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17 at Fredericksburg Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Old Andrew Chapel Cemetery.
