On Tuesday August 27, 2019 Patricia Lynn Gibson passed away at the age of 73.

Lynn, as she was known as to her loved ones and friends, was born on August 6, 1946 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Rupert Hammett and Lois Keys.

Lynn was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Wallace, and husband Charles “Chuck” Gibson (deceased). She is survived by her longtime companion, Brian Bohr; sisters Roxanne “Denise” Fetzer and Caroline Hammett; her brother, Rupert “Tommy” Hammett Jr.; her sons, William “Jody” Gibson and Christopher Gibson; her stepson, Jacob Bohr; three grandchildren, Aaron, Thomas, and Alex; four great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Emery, Lily, and Chloe.

Lynn grew up surrounded by family and friends in Memphis, Tennessee close to Graceland. She graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1964 and began her lifelong passion for fun and adventure. Lynn was married and soon welcomed her first son William. She was swept away and married her second husband, Charles Gibson, and together they welcomed her second son, Christopher in 1970. In 1983 Lynn met her partner and constant companion, Brian Bohr. As her life adventures continued to unfold, her journey took her along many career paths to include stay-at-home mom, commercial bank teller, training manager, and found a passion as a 911 operator and fire dispatcher for Prince William County. While every step along the way she developed new lifelong friendships that have endured more than five decades.

Lynn never turned down an opportunity to experience something new or to help someone in need.  She loved taking care of her family and all of her “adopted” family members. Lynn enjoyed trips to destinations such as Atlantic City, Charlestown, Las Vegas, Tampa and Williamsburg and enjoyed vacations with friends and family at numerous locations around the United States and abroad. She brightened up rooms and made friends wherever she went, whatever she did and always showed compassion and a willingness to help anyone she encountered along her life’s journey.
