Paul Michael “Mike” McKelvey, 67, of Stafford County passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital with his two daughters by his side.
Mike was a Master Plumber and a Master Gas Fitter, employed by W.F. Parker Heating and Air Inc., for over 43 years before he retired in 2014. He was most importantly a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his two children, Kimberly Foundos (Nick), of Stafford, Keri Warren (Don), of Fredericksburg; their mother, Mary Fitzgerald, of Stafford; three sisters Linda Little (Gary), of Stafford, Janet McKelvey, of Stafford, and Mary Lane (Rodney), of Fredericksburg; one brother James Patrick McKelvey (Debora), of North Carolina; one brother-in-law Harlis Breeding, of Woodbridge; two cherished granddaughters Jessica Foundos and Keli Warren, who referred to Mike affectionately as “Dede”; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Delsie McKelvey; a sister, Sherry Breeding; and a granddaughter, Cori Musante.
There will be no funeral per Mike’s wishes.
