Penny Jean Woody passed away with her family by her side on July 11, 2021.

She was a loving and caring person and would help anyone.

She is survived by her companion, Jackson Barker; two sisters Janet Atkinson and Jodie Heflin (Buck); two nieces; two nephews; four great-nephews; one great-niece; and her two fur babies, Festus and Miss Kitty. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Atkinson; and father Sonny Rodgers.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on September 18 at 14545 Long Branch Rd, Woodford, VA 22580.
