Renee Evans Hairfield

Renee Evans Hairfield, 69, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at her home.

Renee was born in 1952 in Stafford County, Virginia, to parents Jack and Joyce. She met and married her husband James in 1972. Renee and James raised four children together in the home that they built in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Renee was a devoted wife and a fiercely dedicated mother, but she especially loved her role as Grandma. Renee treasured her grandchildren and cherished every moment with them.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Hairfield; her four children, Callie Sullivan (Scot), Valerie Leitch (Chad), James Hairfield (Briana), and Amy Hairfield; her seven grandchildren, J.T., Camden, Sally, Eleanor, Kyle, Brooke, and Madison; one great-granddaughter, Rylee; her three siblings, Diane Patterson, Larry Evans, and Billy Evans; and her granddog Bo. Renee was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Joyce Evans and her brother Jack Evans.

Renee passed away surrounded by her loving family after a long-fought battle with cancer. Her family finds comfort knowing Renee is now pain free and cancer free and with her heavenly family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
