Robert W. "Bob" Gooch

Robert W. “Bob” Gooch, 67, of Spotsylvania passed away into Jesus’ arms on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Robert retired from GM Powertrain and later drove a school bus for Spotsylvania County Public Schools. He loved riding his motorcycle and was an avid Clemson fan.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lee Kennedy Gooch of Spotsylvania; sons Richard C. Gooch (Jennifer D. Gooch) of Clemson, SC and Aroch E. Waldron (Amy M. Waldron) of Spotsylvania; grandchildren Maddy, Ariana, Emily, Colin, and Eli; sister Ellen Russell of SC; brother Jake Gooch (Sally Gooch) of FL; niece Amber; and nephews Jonathan and Joshua.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 22 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
