Robert William Mullen III

Robert William Mullen III, 39, departed this life on June 9, 2022.

Robert was known all around White Oak as “Boy”, a nickname given to him by his father at an early age.  Boy loved hunting and fishing, and worked as a heavy equipment operator at Site Right Excavation.  Being true to the spirit of Boy, the family cannot forget how much he enjoyed to “party”. He definitely lived life to the fullest, and then some. Most of all, he loved his daughter, Crysta. Boy was incredibly special to all of his family and will be deeply missed.

Robert is survived by his beautiful daughter, Crysta Mullen; parents Robert and Helen Mullen; sister Melissa Blackington; nephew Dennis “DJ” Powell Jr.; niece Willow Atkinson; cousin who was more like a brother, Eric Hudson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00- 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 2. 2022 at White Oak Fire Department.
