Robert E. “Bobby” Parr

On Sunday, May 15, 2022 Robert “Bobby” Parr passed away at the age of 82. He was born on June 20, 1939. Bobby was born and raised in Fredericksburg, but had resided in Stafford County for the past 40 years.

Bobby retired from the Naval Surface Weapons Center at Dahlgren over 27 years ago as an electrician. He also served in the Navy as a very young man. He loved all things electronic, especially working with computers. He also loved the ocean, always wanting to go to the Outer Banks where he could also see the lighthouses.

He is survived by his daughter, Sue Parr; his son, Phillip Parr (Lisa); 4 grandchildren Robbie Keyser (Lisa), Mia Parr, Ally Parr, and Jacob Parr; as well as 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Reamy Parr; his parents, Robert and Martha Parr; and his brother, Douglas Parr (Nancy).

A service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 23, 2022 in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg.
