Robert J. Turnley III

Robert J. Turnley III, 69, of Spotsylvania, VA passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. 

Robert lived his entire life at the family farm in Spotsylvania. He graduated from Spotsylvania High School and later, James Madison University. Robert worked and retired from Dominion Power. He loved hanging out at the Moose Lodge with his friends, supporting the Minnesota Vikings, and taking care of his Purple Martins. 

Survivors include his companion, Marilou Campbell; brother Greg Turnley (Mary Jane); beloved dog, LuLu; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Turnley II; and mother Eula Elizabeth Turnley. 

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Interment will follow in the Turnley Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Turnley, Angela Miniter, James Miniter, Addison Miniter, Carter Miniter, and Adrian Hall.
