Roy J. Headley, Sr.

Roy J. Headley, Sr., 77, of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Roy loved old cars and collecting. We all loved him for who he was, he wasn’t perfect and will be greatly missed, “LYF”.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie B. Headley; sons Roy J. Headley, Jr. (Theresa), and James W. Headley (Michelle); daughters Jessica R. Headley (Ernie) and Chelsea L. Fetherman (Greg); five grandchildren Alex, Aaron, Rebecca, Jamie, and Mason; four great-grandchildren Aubrey, Ferris, Lakon, and Ryder; brother Louis G. Headley; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Garnett M. Headley; and brother Robert F. Headley, Sr.  

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 30 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
