Ruby Ann Nations

Ruby Ann Nations (nee Allen) passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Virginia at the age of 69.

Born on January 14, 1955, in Washington, DC, Ruby was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend. Ruby was a fun-loving individual who cherished laughter and spending quality time with her friends and family. She found joy in watching and cheering on her favorite football team, the Washington Commanders.

Ruby is survived by her son, Matthew (Jen); daughter Katina (Jason); siblings Liz, Frances, Elsie, John, and Donald.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, William Nations and her parents, Raymond and Frances Allen.

A service to honor Ruby’s life will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with an hour prior visitation.

Ruby’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
