Samantha Kay Harrell

Samantha Kay Harrell, 35, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of July 8, 2020 at her residence. 

Sam graduated from Stafford High School in 2003 and later completed phlebotomy training at Cardinal Institute of Health Careers.  She loved working with her patients and co-workers.  She always had an infectious laugh and a radiant smile.  She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Kimberly Harrell; her brother, Preston Harrell (Danielle); her nephews, Dylan Lucas and Preston Harrell, Jr.; her paternal grandmother, Jean Harrell; her maternal grandfather, Wayne Rappoldt; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.  Samantha was preceded in death by her father, Russell Scott Harrell.

All services will be private.

Samantha was a lover of all animals, so in her honor, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA  22408.
