Sandro A. Avendaño Mujica

April 25, 1969 – July 11, 2022

Sandro A. Avendaño Mujica passed away on July 11, 2022, at the Inova Fairfax Hospital after he suffered a brain hemorrhage that had left him brain dead. Preceded in death by his brother, Romulo Avendaño. He is survived by his wife, Blanca N. Wichtendahl; his children, Cristhian Avendaño, Andres Avendaño, and Stephanie Avendaño; and his parents Romulo Avendaño and Justina Mujica. Further survived by his grandchildren, Angel Luis Ortiz, Abigail Rose Avendaño Luna, and Camila Alessandra Avendaño Luna. Sandro will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a the live of the party, as a great friend who was there no matter what, a diligent worker, overcoming obstacles to come here to the United States to provide better opportunities for his children, and proud father and grandfather of his children and grandchildren.

Sandro A. Avendaño Mujica falleció el 11 de julio de 2022 en el Hospital Inova Fairfax después de sufrir una hemorragia cerebral que lo había dejado con muerte cerebral. Precedido en la muerte por su hermano Rómulo Avendaño. Le sobreviven su esposa, Blanca N. Wichtendahl; sus hijos, Cristhian Avendaño, Andrés Avendaño, y Stephanie Avendaño; y sus padres Rómulo Avendaño y Justina Mujica. Le sobreviven además sus nietos, Ángel Luis Ortiz, Abigail Rose Avendaño Luna, y Camila Alessandra Avendaño Luna. Sandro será recordado con cariño por familiares y amigos como la alegria de la fiesta, como un gran amigo que estuvo allí sin importar qué, un trabajador diligente, superando obstáculos para venir aquí a los Estados Unidos para brindar mejores oportunidades a sus hijos, y orgulloso padre y abuelo de sus hijos y nietos.
