Sharon Ruth Gill

Sharon Ruth Gill, 64, of Spotsylvania passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, James Gill, Jr.; children Matt Gill (Elizabeth D’Avignon), Shanna Thomas (Brian), and Brandon Gill (Shawna); grandchildren William, Rebecca, Matthew, Skyla, Jayden, River, Bonham and the Lucks 14; mother Eleanor Giles; sisters Michelle Huertas (John) and Anne Lockett (Dan); and in-laws Jim and Mary Gill. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Giles; niece Kathy Huertas; grand-niece Kelly O’Brien; dearest friend Patty Lucks; and close friends Susie Schultz and Dodie Bawden.

A service will be held at noon on Saturday, January 19 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be private.
