Shirley Mae Frenzley

Shirley Mae Frenzley, 69, of Ruther Glen, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

Shirley was born on February 17, 1950 and attended Ralph Bunch High School. She worked as a certified nurse’s assistant at Heritage Hall Health Care Center and At Home Health Care in Fredericksburg.

Survivors include her children, Aronda L. Bell (Darian) and Orenthal J. Frenzley; grandchildren Darius Bell, Raleigh Armstrong, Ayana Bell, Ryan Frenzley, Rheanna Frenzley, and Remington Frenzley; sisters Winnie Henderson (Thomas), Evelyn Lewis, Barbara Peyton (Earnest), and Rachel Frenzley; brothers Rayfield Frenzley, Jr. (Rosie) and Willie Frenzley (Vernell); Godson Kevin Parker; and God Grandchild Ivana Bailey; her two dear friends, Vickie Baylor and Dorothy Jones; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Rayfield and Lena Frenzley; sisters Lillian Bailey, Doris Frenzley, and Catherine Minor; and her brothers, George Frenzley and Franklin Frenzley.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11 at Covenant Funeral Service Fredericksburg Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Rayfield Frenzley Cemetery in King George.
