Shirley Satterwhite Lacy

Shirley Satterwhite Lacy, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Shirley was born on May 12, 1937 in Richmond. She was a graduate of the old John Marshall High School and an inactive member of Pine St. Baptist Church. Shirley loved "Old Richmond."

Survivors include her three children, daughter Dana Reynolds and her husband, Andy, and their son Dylan Reynolds; son Kristopher Lacy and his wife, Sherry, and their two sons Jesse and Jacob Lacy and his wife, Rose; son Kevin Lacy and his wife, Lynda, and their daughter Savannah Lacy; four nephews and one niece in Richmond; and four nephews in Spotsylvania; and  really good friends Mamie and John Brown, Crystal, Debbie Drolshagen, and her Pastor Rick Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, and her parents, and brothers, and numerous cousins, and really good friend, John Nestor.

A service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 19 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
