On Saturday, October, 9 2021, Sue Ann Dickenson-Pennino, loving spouse, mother, and loyal friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 77. She was born on August 15, 1944 in Maryland.
Driven by a passion for helping and caring for people, Sue gave of herself through Blue Star Mom’s, Lions Club, Business Network International, and was everyone’s clothes fashionista. She will forever be remembered as an avid supporter of service members, first responders, and Virginia Military Institute Cadets and Alumni.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Pennino; children Phyllis, Glenn, Kara and Kristy; and 7 grandchildren Travis, Jordan, Sarah, John, Alyssa, Katalina, and Rachael.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of her life from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 21 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 22 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. A private burial service will take place at Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
