Sue J. Perry

Sue J. Perry, 92, of Keswick, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in Fredericksburg, VA.  Sue was born in Alexandria, VA on July 6, 1929 to the late Edward Corbin Thompson and Minnie Sue Snapp Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roland Perry and her brother, Edward Johnston.

Mrs. Perry graduated from Washington and Lee High School in Arlington and attended Westhampton College, now the University of Richmond. She married her husband, Roland in 1949. She was active in the communities where she lived, as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and as a docent for historic Christ Church in Weems, VA.

Sue is survived by her two daughters, Karen Perry Kertsos (Bill), and Brenda Perry; granddaughters are Kristen Kertsos, Lisa Kertsos (Adam Noll), and Jenny Kertsos; great-grandchildren William and Audrey Noll; one niece; and six nephews

A private graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
