Susan E. Bugg

Susan E. Bugg, 68, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital, in Fredericksburg, VA.

Susan was born in Chester, PA, daughter of the late Clinton F. and Evelyn Fetterman. She worked for the Government before stepping away from the workforce to be a stay at home mom and daycare provider, which she loved. She later rejoined the workforce, working at Safeway, Capital One, and Walmart, respectfully. As her children were growing up, she was very active with her church, St John's Lutheran Church of Alexandria, VA, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was also a counselor for the church middle school youth group, Juniors Active in Ministry (JAMs). Her favorite role, next to mom, was Head Chaperone of the Woodbridge Senior High School Mighty Viking Marching Band. To all her daughters' friends she was known as Mom Bugg.

During her days as a stay at home mom, she enjoyed some downtime while bowling on a league with friends. Susan was also a lover of music and could sing along with the lyrics of almost every 80's Pop song ever written. She enjoyed watching mystery shows, musicals, and always quoted Star Wars while viewing it. Susan was also an avid Penn State fan and also rooted for the Minnesota Vikings. 

Susan was an amazing mother who is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer A. Rees and husband David, Kathleen M. Bugg, and Diane E. Ingram; two grandchildren, Dylan Rees and Nathan Rees. She is also survived by two brothers, Clinton Fetterman, Karl Fetterman and wife Kim, and two sisters, Donna Dillon and Joan Ingram.

Susan had a smile that brightened many people's lives and will be missed dearly.
