Susan Edna (Pecue) Devers

Susan Edna (Pecue) Devers of Hopkinton, NH passed away on Monday, May 13th, 2019, at the age of 66.  

Susan was born December 28th, 1952, in Glen Falls, NY to Walter and Reta Pecue. She graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1970 where she enjoyed playing field hockey and attending her brothers’ athletic events. 

Susan spent much of her life traveling. She loved seeing new sights and experiencing all cultures. She cherished her time spent living in and traveling throughout Europe. She especially expressed her love for the beauty of Belgium and her favorite city visited many times was Vienna, Austria. Above all was her deep affection for the natural beauty of the Northeast, especially the turning of the leaves in a Vermont fall. Susan was an avid reader of mystery novels and loved all types of music, which was always playing in her home. 

Susan is survived by her husband Douglas Devers, sons Christopher and wife Kim, Randi, Benjamin and wife Nilsa, stepdaughter Danaka and husband Brandon. Her grandchildren Wyatt, Walter, Sebastian, and Beverly were especially cherished. Brothers Raymond Pecue and wife Janet; Robert Pecue and wife Pamela “Penny”, Gerald Pecue and wife Kathleen, Michael Pecue and wife Susan, stepbrother Dominick Flores, and stepsister Melodee are surviving siblings. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Pecue, Reta Flores, stepfather Newell Flores, and oldest brother John Pecue. 

A private ceremony for family only will be held at a private location. In lieu of flowers, she would ask you to hug your loved ones closely, to have a drink, to laugh, and to celebrate life to its fullest.
