Terry Marks “Duke” McBroom

Terry Marks “Duke” McBroom, 67, of Colonial Beach passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Duke was born on February 5, 1954 to the late Kerry J. McBroom, Sr. and Shirley Marks McBroom.

Duke had many sports achievements both in Warsaw and Stafford. He graduated in 1972 from Stafford High School and went on to attend Germanna, Mary Washington University, and VCU. He retired in 2017 after 45 years in the agriculture industry. He loved his dogs, music, beach, concerts, NASCAR, and sports.

Duke is survived by his loving fiancée, Susan L. Gray of the home; and his siblings, Kerry McBroom (Ann), Cherie Peake, Mike McBroom (Karen), and Patrick McBroom. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory one aunt; nine nieces and nephews; and eleven great nieces and nephews; many cousins; along with many friends.
