Thomas L. "Tom" Rominger

Thomas L. “Tom” Rominger, 78, of Richardsville passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Tom was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 9, 1942. He retired from Fairfax County Home and Maintenance Department for the Elderly in 2007 and worked for Lowes in Culpeper for several years after his retirement from Fairfax County. Tom was known in the community as the “pen” man, he enjoyed passing out writing pens he had specially made with his and his wife’s  name on them to everyone he met.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Nancy Rominger; his step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mary Rominger; his son, Thomas “Tommy” Rominger Jr; and grandson Bryan Rominger.

His family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
