Victoria Sue McCloskey

Victoria Sue McCloskey, 73, of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home.

Vicki was born, raised and raised her children in Alexandria. She was a proud homemaker and mother of four.

Her favorite place was the Northern Neck of Virginia. Her children spent most summers and weekends with her at the river house. In later years, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren also made many memories at the river with Vicki. 

Vicki loved her church. She spent many Wednesday's preparing and serving food and loved helping with vacation bible school. 

Vicki is survived by her dearest friend of over 20 years, Jeffrey Sullivan. Jeff and Vicki enjoyed many beach trips and spent a lot of time at delicious eateries all over Fredericksburg. Jeff was one of Vicky's caregivers during her illness. His love and loyalty will never be forgotten by her children. She is also survived by her children, Deanna (Teddy), Ann-Marie (Rocky), James (Mindy), Michael (Kazimiera); grandchildren Kristin (Tony), Jeff, Stephen (Lauren), Brandon (Chelsy), Thomas, Alyssa, Rylie, Addison, Jaxson, Malana, and Tucker; and great-grandchildren Stephen, Jr., Brock, Milo, JJ, and Madison. She was preceded in death by her former husband, James McCloskey; and parents Lindsey Eugene and Dorothy Walker.

Vicki will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1 at Spotswood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A reception will be held after the funeral at the home of James and Mindy McCloskey. Interment will be held privately in Alexandria.
