Wynn N. "Bud" LaWall, Jr.

Wynn N. “Bud” LaWall Jr. of Beaverdam, Virginia died, Friday, January 15, 2021 at home with family at his side.

He was born on Easter, 1928, to the late Wynn LaWall and Helen Dawson LaWall in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Canisus College after serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He married Sally Fretts in Williamsville, NY and they enjoyed 59 years together in Tonawanda, NY and Bracey, VA before Sally’s death in 2010.

He is survived by his children, Michael of Poquosen, VA, Laura Brandis (Robert) of Wilton, NY, Steven of Buffalo, NY, Kathryn Boltz of Beaverdam, VA, and Susan Cortese (Anthony) of Holland, MI. Survivors also include 10 grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Sally LaWall; daughter Barbara Minchella (Fred) of Chili, NY; his brother Robert of Carolina Shores, NC; and sister Janet Guzzo of Alden, NY.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 22 at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church.
