Joseph Allan Harman, 71, of Spotsylvania County died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Harman was a U. S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He had worked for NASA and retired from the FBI. Mr. Harmon loved music. He played the guitar and sang.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Harman; sons, Joseph Allan Harman IV and Richard Seipp; daughter Melissa Joann Beeson; brothers Walter Steven Harmon and Alpheus Wayne Harmon; sister Kathryn Harmon Odom; four grandchildren; and several half and step-brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. and Eula Cayton Harman and sister Ruby Evelyn Harman Odom.
Services will be private.
