On behalf of the officers and members of the Rev. Beverly Tucker Lacy SCV Camp #2141, I would like to express our sorrow at the passing of Emmett Lacy, Sr. It was our honor to have 3 of the Lacy family join our SCV Camp and we now lift up in prayer the Lacy family that they may be comforted by the Holy Spirit during this difficult time. The bugle has sounded Taps and we pray that he is granted eternal rest under the shade of the trees for God is our refuge and strength.

I was blessed to 1 of his many grandchildren, he never chose favorites. He came to our house often told funny jokes. He was always looking at the positive outlook. He wad a member to Round Oak Baptist Church and always enchouraged us to go. I just cant stop thinking about the good times like riding in the tractor and trailer with him, working on cars and such. We will always have a place in my heart.
