Gaye, I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I met your mom once and her smile was a beacon of light. May God give you the strength needed during this difficult time and may there be peace knowing she is healthy and now where there aren’t enough words to describe the beauty.

Grammy taught be how to be a strong and independent woman, how to do things for myself. She also had a great sense of humor and was always up for a little party. You can’t tell in this picture but she’s holding an umbrella drink!! I’ll miss so much celebrating life’s moments with her – bridal showers, graduations, holidays, birthdays. Love you always Grammy.

Grammy taught me so much about life and how I should go about living mine. She was the wisest person I’ve ever encountered & I’ve yet to meet anyone who even compares to her wisdom. She’s the only person who was constantly there to pick me up when I messed up and the only one who never stopped believing in me. I’ll never forget doing crosstich with her, setting up her Christmas tree when I was a kid, doing puzzles with her, or how she always had candy for me whenever I wanted any. She was the light of my life and had the most amazing sense of humor & a smile that even made strangers feel welcome. I miss her so much already and it’s only been a month. Heaven gained the most amazing angel. I love you Grammy
