Alvin Layne and Ann~
My heart goes out to you in the loss of your son at such a young age. I know his passing will be difficult to accept but we prayed for you at New Hope yesterday in worship and again at MYF last night. Powell focused on Stacy’s children in his prayer and I lifted you both up in my prayer. The young people prayed their own individual prayers and they were so touching in their understanding of your grief in their petitions. Know that New Hope Church loves you, supports you in the days ahead and will continue to pray for you. God will hold you close in his embrace so you can work your way through this tragedy and we will be the hands and feet of Jesus for Stacy’s children at NHUMC.
rest in peace old friend
Alvin and Ann – My heart goes out to you. Stacy was one of the nicest people I know. Our hunting memories put a smile on my face. I will always remember how much fun he was and all the times he made me laugh. John – You may be my cousin, but you’re like a brother to me, and I know how much Stacy meant to you. You were a true friend to him and I know he thought the world of you. Rest in Peace Stacy. You will be missed dearly.
